WhatsApp is a super popular cross-platform messaging service. It will gradually knock into every device.

How Does WhatsApp New Feature Mention Notification Works?

Let's see how this feature will work. If you are in a group and someone messages you by mentioning you. When you open it, you may not see the message meant for you immediately.  There will be a lot of messages in a WhatsApp group.  So, you will notice a new button. Tapping on this button will allow you to move over messages where you aren’t mentioned. It will highlight the mentioned message. This @ button will appear only if all messages that mention your name is unread.  Also, if these messages aren’t visible in the chat, press the @ button.You will directly view the message where you are mentioned.
