Great news for the Indian WhatsApp users. Now WhatsApp Payments Beta is rolling in the Indian region. Now users can perform money transaction all around India. The WhatsApp Payments Beta connects into the UPI (Unified Payments Interface) program. The payments interface includes many of the country's most popular banking agencies both Govt. and non-Govt. It supports a number of banks in the Indian region. This includes State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and Axis Bank, Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank etc.

Also, first the iOS users were successfully able to perform payments using the WhatsApp Payments Beta. Although some bugs were noticed in the Android version of the App supporting the new feature, now it is working too.
